It has been involved in design and development of Cyclone, the Russian standardized geoinformation platform, for over 10 years.

The Institute of Geographic Information Technology being a part of GOSINFOTECH corporation was founded in 2008.

During its activity, the Institute has become a technology leader in the field of creation of information and analytical systems for the purpose of managing space-distributed objects on the basis of three-dimensional geoinformation systems. The Institute employs more than 50 highly qualified specialists with industry-specific education, necessary training, qualification and experience.

The Institute is engaged in:

  • development of Cyclone, the uniform standardized geoinformation platform
  • development of the Cyclone GIS on the basis of the best world practices
  • development of recommendations and methodology for nationwide creation and operation of the Russian geoinformation systems

All developments and researches of the Institute are conducted in full compliance with the applicable Russian legislation, organizational documents and guidelines of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart), the Federal Service for Accreditation (RusAccreditation), the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities Sector of the Russian Federation (Minstroy of Russia), the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation (Mincomsvyaz of Russia).
